New Release! Tapestry of Tales and Poetry by the Writers of Brant!
Like a tapestry, the thread of creativity is woven throughout this book. We invite you to step into a collection as diverse as the writers who created it. Within these pages you will find a vibrant mix of short fiction, non-fiction, poetry and artwork – each piece offering a unique glimpse into the imaginations and experiences of those in our writers’ group.
From heartfelt reflections, original tales, playful verses and thoughtful insights, each thread adds its own colour, and together we have woven something extraordinary.

Baxter House Editions presents The Places We Haunt by Cecilia Kennedy!
This collection of 13 eclectic dark tales takes place in museums, swimming pools, houses, restaurants, the cemetery, and outdoors in nature. The stories told are sometimes humorous, absurd, pensive, or cautionary. Those who tell them, don’t even realize they’re dead.

Baxter House Editions presents The Things My Mother Left Behind, a poetry collection by Susan Richardson, now available!
Things My Mother Left Behind is about the undeniable connections between love and grief, joy and pain. It is an exploration of one woman’s journey through the loss of loved ones, loss of sight, loss of control and innocence. It is about escaping into darkness and discovering light.

Available now! The Streets, Like Flowers, Come Alive In The Rain by Steve Denehan!
I rarely sit down to write a poem. I generally just wait for them to come along. The majority of these poems came together quickly and were often written in batches. In saying that, I hope there is variety here. The usual things are covered: love, hate, spite, rage, hope, the wonder of small things, the passing of time, how reggae is the worst type of music, but hopefully they are considered and written about in unusual and interesting ways. Either way, they are honest, from the heart, and maybe, more importantly, the stomach.~ Steve Denehan
