Campus
Â
We travelled like stars through three forests
Densely protruding through thickets
And tangled unceremoniously like hair.
We are gorgeous here, we cannot help it,
We shape the skyline with our eyelashes.Â
Butter weed and gravel crunch precede us
But we walk according to time.
Roots and hands detain us,
Sometimes herald us,
From across the water.
