About Beyond Hover: Dimensional Weaves

After escaping a shadow invasion that swept them from their parents’ arms and took them from their home in the Orfa Dimension, Ben fights his own tormenting shadows in his new home on Earth. Travels to the Myrra Dimension trap him in a retro-return that locks him in a replay of the same event over and over. Time wasted prevents Ben from finding his lost twin, Lacey, who's gone missing. Even worse, Daniel, a bully who teases Ben and his sisters, flirts with Chloe, the new girl in town, and Ben is jealous. Then Ben meets Frank (Benjamin Franklin), who helps search for Lacey with the children, teaches Ben how to get the girl, and learns how to hover--well, sort of. And in the middle of everything, Ben must contend with Fuzzbucket, an annoying ball of fluff that follows Ben everywhere, as well as Happy Shadow, who might know more than she's telling.

About The Author

Janet Frances Lopes is a retired farmer from Southern Ontario.

The Creative Writing Institute took Janet on as a columnist where she wrote columns and did some professional editing for CEO, Ms. Deborah Owens.

Southern Ontario Farmer printed Janet’s farewell to the tobacco industry in a 2007 issue.

The Burford Times printed her story about the dancing sun, a recollection of the dancing sun viewed in Aylmer, Ontario; the same dancing sun witnessed by Janet’s husband’s grandmother in Fatima in the early 1900’s where Mother Mary spoke to 3 children. Her husband’s grandmother recalled standing wet in the rain and everyone’s clothing drying in an instant when the sun appeared.
