Lost Thoughts by Kenneth Vincent Walker

Lost Thoughts

When I think about all

The strange ideas that

I hadn’t shared—that

Evaporated in thin air;

Forever lost in the mist,

Plunged into the abyss;

Never to see the light

Of day crystal clear.

When I think about all

The odd tales I hadn’t

Told—ones atypically

Outlandish and bold.

Forever lost in time or

In my subconscious

Mind; nevertheless the

Unfulfilled remain still

And they remain cold.

Well said. How easy it is to think up stories and yet never bring them to the surface.
